Genevieve graduated cum laude from Boston College, where she majored in communications, was a French Embassy grant recipient, and served as captain of the women’s varsity fencing team. During the summer between college and law school, Genevieve successfully completed a cross-country bicycle trip as part of Habitat for Humanity’s 2005 journey to promote its affordable housing initiatives. She received her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law where she was a staff member of the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review and received CALI Awards for Excellence in Legal Writing, Sales, and Securities Arbitration. While in law school, Genevieve worked as a legal intern for Arrow Electronics, Inc. and for the Securities Arbitration Clinic. She also served as a legal intern for the United States Army JAG Corps’ office in Bamberg, Germany, where she aided attorneys on topics as varies as the rules of engagement, trust and estate planning for soldiers in complex familial arranges, and on preparation of prosecution witnesses prior to military courts-martial. Genevieve originally started with the firm as a law clerk during her final year of law school before joining us full-time in 2008.
