Profile: Robert J. Burzichelli

While obtaining his graduate and law degrees, Robert dedicated six years working for the New York City Mayor's Office of Labor Relations, where he assisted in labor contract negotiations and in the City-wide implementation of the Fair Labor Standards Act. Upon graduation from law school, Robert was employed as an associate with Coudert Brothers LLP (1988-1991). Thereafter, Robert returned to his legal passion, labor and employment law, where he continues to represent labor unions and union members in a variety of matters including collective bargaining, discipline, and contract grievances.

A graduate of both Rutgers College and Rutgers University School of Law, Robert serves as counsel to the Rutgers Touchdown Club and Rutgers Court Club, of which he is also a Past President. He is also an inductee into the Loyal Sons of Rutgers, a prestigious award which honors individuals who have rendered extraordinary service to the University community.
