Robert J. Burzichelli

While obtaining his graduate and law degrees, Robert J. Burzichelli worked for six years in the New York City Mayor’s Office of Labor Relations, where he assisted in labor contract negotiations and in the City-wide implementation of the Fair Labor Standards Act. Mr. Burzichelli has been in private practice since 1989 when he graduated from Rutgers School of Law. During the last 20 years he has been in private practice in New York. Today, Mr. Burzichelli is a partner at GBG and represents labor unions and union members in a variety of matters including collective bargaining, discipline, and contract grievances. He has devoted much of his attention to bargaining for and handling disciplinary matters involving trades union members, handling hundreds of such matters from the institution of charges to the final determination and award. Mr. Burzichelli’s devotion to individual employee rights and zealous advocacy make him an excellent representative for employees in the public and private sectors.
